This year for the first time Cesenatico’s Fausto Coppi group, organizer of the Nove Colli, held a day dedicated to altruism creating an event called “Nove Colli Charity Day 2017”.

An event that wants to become a fixed appointment for the next editions, and started yesterday April 7th at the Council Hall of Cesenatico where the cycling group Fausto Coppi showed his fortitude not just by riding a bike, but also through charitable initiatives for the territory.

In the presence of the Mayor Matteo Gozzoli and the City Council, the Board of the association chaired by Alessandro Spada held the symbolic checks-giving ceremony by which the cycling group devolved 45.383,40 euros.

The realities that have benefited from the donations are: Action Aid, Marina Romoli Onlus, 2° Circolo Didattico Cesenatico, G.S. Progetti Scorta, Comitato Regionale FCI, Fondazione Marco Simoncelli, Comunità Papa Giovanni XXIII di Balignano, Fondazione La Nuova Famiglia, I.O.R. – Istituto Oncologico Romagnolo – and Pro Earthquake victims Ride.

Less than two months to go for the 47th edition of the Nove Colli – Selle Italia scheduled for May 21st, and the great work done by the A.S.D. Fausto Coppi never stops, not just exciting thousand of cyclists around the world, but also never forgetting to dedicate time and passion to charitable initiatives for its land, and not only.
