Meeting-Place and Starting-Point:
Harbour of Cesenatico (Italy) Meeting from 5,00 a.m. - Departure Red Start line at 6:10am, all the others in real-time with a 2 minute break between the last one of the preceding start line.

Partecipation:
The race is open to all F.C.I. members of both sexes, or card carrying members of, groups belonging to "Consulta Nazionale" and to foreigners (U.C.I.). Amateur Cyclist from 19 years of age can ride the Km. 200 long-distance route or Km. 130 route (crossing Savignano within 12,15 p.m.) at any speed. Sportscyclists (from 15 years on) and Amateur Cyclists (over 65) can only run the 130 Km. route at a maximum speed of 25 Km h.
Partecipation Fee:
€ 50,00 including an electronic ankle pin timing system (to give back after race), overknee tights. Mechanic and medical assistance, radio aid, 10 different food and refreshment supplies, a pasta party ticket (parents and friends can buy a voucher to take part ), shower's at the finish line, souvenirs, personal licence releasable through Internet www.novecolli.it
Conditions of payment

Transfer payable to: ASD G.C. Fausto Coppi, Via Saffi c/o Stadio Comunale, 47042 Cesenatico (FC), indicating the registration code received by mail, and sending a copy of payment by fax to 0044 0547 672186 within 5 days of completing the online registration form.
Credit Card via Internet www.novecolli.it (using this method of payment no documentation via fax is needed). All credit card fees are charged to the card holder.
Registration:
From 24/10/09 to 22/11/09 only promotional packages (registration and accommodation).
From 28/11/09 to 27/02/10 individual and group registrations.
They must be completed online using the appropriate registration form on our webpage: www.novecolli.it
The maximum number of race entries is 12000 and the Organisation reserves the right to close registration once this number has been reached, even before the official registration closing date. All official communications will be notified on the website www.novecolli.it
Substitutions and cancellations:
Substitution of an athlete will be accepted only on receipt (by fax) of the relevant form downloadable from our website before 06/05/10 and on payment of 5 euros for secretarial costs.
Any cancellations before 06/05/10: the registration fee will be kept valid for the 2011 edition and cannot be transferred onto another person. After this date, the race souvenir will be sent to the athlete's home at the athlete's expense.
Membership card check and race pack distribution:
In Cesenatico in Via Saffi c/o Stadio Comunale from
Saturday 15/05 to Thursday 20/05 time: 9-12 - 15-18 - 20-22
Friday 21/05 and Saturday 22/05 time: 9-13 - 14-19.30 - 20.30-22
The race pack can also be picked up by third parties, on presentation of the email sent by the Organisation.
The race number is strictly personal and cannot be given to third parties, in such cases disqualification is immediate.
Checks:
They are strictly compulsory both at the race start and along the two routes. Whoever doesn't leave from the assigned grid will be disqualified. As will anyone who doesn't result as having started or who doesn't pass one of the electronic checks. Those who were disqualified in the 2009 edition cannot participate in the present edition.
Maximum time:
200 Km route (12 hours) - 130 Km route (7.5 hours). For the 200km route cyclists must pass through the village of Sogliano al Rubicone before 12.15 p.m.
Individual and society classification:
All amateur cyclists will participate in the various individual classifications. Registrations without the date of birth will not be inserted into category classifications. The society/team classification will be based on the sum of the points gained by each single member of the team within the maximum times of the two routes. The times of the Leisure cyclists will be listed only in alphabetic order. The classifications will be published in the press and on our website: www.novecolli.it
Individual prize-giving:
Souvenir to all those who finished their chosen route and a personalized Appennine Certificate downloadable from the website. First 5 men/women overall for the 130 km and the 200km. First five men/women for the 200km category. The "Climber's" Trophy (timed climb of the Barbotto). Prize giving starts at about 14:30
Prizes will only be given to the winners at the time of the prize giving.
Team prizes:
The first team for the 200 km. route will win the "Mauro Venturi" trophy. The first team for the 130 km. route will win the "Ciani Guerrino" trophy. The "General Classification" trophy will be given to the team with the largest number of participants classified in both routes (200 points for each person in the team on race completion for the 200km route and 130 points for each person in the team on race completion for the 130km route), and to a further 10 teams. All teams with at least 15 enrolled cyclists in one single enrolment form will win a participation prize. All teams enrolled with at least 25 cyclists will be awarded on Saturday 22nd May, at 5.30 pm. at the "Ciclo & Vento" trade fair.
Fidelity Prize - Gold medal:
All cyclists who reach their 10th Nove Colli race this year will win a personalized prize on collection of the race pack. A gold medal will be awarded to all cyclists who reach their 15th "Nove Colli" race this year on Satuday 22nd May at the "Ciclo e Vento" trade fair. The names of those who are eligible for one of the prizes must be communicated at the time of registration. Those who have already won a prize in the past are not eligible for prizes at this year's race.
Medical assistance:
8 ambulance cars with doctors and nurses aboard, 5 fixed areas of medical assistance, of which one is permanently in the race finish area, mobile service on motorbikes and trained staff. Fixed and mobile radio aid.
Mobile and mechanical assistance:
Fixed areas of assistance and mobile car and motorbike assistance. Road cleaning service.
Private cars and motorbikes are strictly forbidden, the athlete will be disqualified.
Helmet:
Compulsory.
Insurance:
The race is insured by F.C.I. The enrolled participants are covered by a supplementary insurance: Assofondo - Assicurazione Aurora - Via Diaz 57 - (I) 39100 Bolzano. Cyclists who are not enrolled cannot take part in the race. In case of accident they can be charged according to the law.
200 Km. route:
Cesenatico, Martorano, Diegaro, Forlimpopoli, Bertinoro, Polenta, Fratta, Meldola, Pieve di Rivoschio, S. Romano, Ciola, Mercato Saraceno, Barbotto, Sogliano, Ponte Uso, M. Tiffi, Perticara, Novafeltria (bivio Sartiano), Ponte Baffone, Maiolo, M. Pugliano, S. Leo, Secchiano, Passo delle Siepi, Ponte Uso, Gorolo, Borghi, Savignano, Gatteo, Sant'Angelo, Cesenatico (Finish line at the "Agip" colony building) where a large bike park is available.
130 Km route:
Cesenatico, Martorano, Diegaro, Forlimpopoli, Bertinoro, Polenta, Fratta, Meldola, Pieve di Rivoschio, S. Romano, Ciola, Mercato Saraceno, Barbotto, Sogliano, Borghi, Savignano, Gatteo, Sant'Angelo, Cesenatico (Finish line at the "Agip" colony building) where a large bike park is available.
Regulations:
What is not provided for in these regulations, the general regulations and rules of the National Amateur Structure F.C.I. and U.C.I. orders apply. The G.C. Fausto Coppi declines all responsibility, for itself and its members, with regards to accidents or injuries or damages before, during and after the race or caused by the event itself. Furthermore the G.C. Fausto Coppi reserves the right to exclude all athletes behaving incorrectly before, during or after the race or who throw litter during the race. All participants must abide by the Highway code. Apart from the Barbotto, all roads are open to the traffic.
Variations:
The organization reserves the right to change the regulations or route if necessary.
Antidoping:
All enrolments of cyclists incurred in disciplinary measures due to controls of F.C.I. and related Sporting authorities or Councils recognised by the C.O.N.I. will not be accepted.

Hotel and Tourist Information:
IMPORTANT: We would like to remind all participants that the "Nove Colli" is not a competitive race. Regardless of the finish order, the Nove Colli is, and will always be, a cycling meeting where everyone can ride at their own speed, and, most of all, enjoying the lovely views offered by the landscape all along the way.
In the 2011 edition the red grid will be reserved only for participants who have completed the 200km route and based on completion time.
N.B.: The "Nove Colli" traffic signs are provided by the Forlì-Cesena Province and are permanent.
