The oldest granfondo in the world lands on the great cycling channel, RAI Sport. The 2019 edition will, in fact, be broadcast live from 9am to 12:15pm on Sunday, May 19. On the same day, the channel will cover the Giro d'Italia's individual time trial stage from Riccione to San Marino.
Three and a quarter hours of live television with images of the big start of the 12,000 participants all the way to the finish line on the Cesenatico seafront.
Thanks to the definition of the new schedules of the state broadcaster, Rai Sport is the reference channel of the top cycling: from the classics of the north to the Nove Colli, passing over to the Giro d'Italia. The final phases will be on Rai 2.
Also for 2019 there will be Gianfranco Benincasa to present the live broadcast from the Cesenatico studio, alternating the images of the race with the tourist-cultural attractions of the area and the many special guests.
Another important innovation will be the collaboration with Rai Gulp, which will be the official media partner of the Mini Nove Colli-Sportful.
The Rai channel, dedicated to the youth, will carry out a special service on environmental friendly cycling for children from ages 7 to 14, the Mini Nove Colli - Sportful, now in its eighth edition and which will take place on Saturday afternoon on the eve of the granfondo.
