The 50th edition of the Nove Colli Granfondo and the 12th stage of the Giro d'Italia, which will retrace the granfondo's route, were presented in Milan in the shadow of the Duomo.

An informal event took place in the presence of the most important national newspapers and television outlets, with many friends such as two-time World Champion and Olympic Champion Paolo Bettini, the Tuscan champion who just retired Daniele Bennati, and Italian National Director and President of APT Emilia -Romagna Davide Cassani, showman Vittorio Brumotti, comedian and actor Paolo Kessisoglu, and above all, the three-time cycling World Champion Peter Sagan.

The 12th stage suits the Slovakian cyclist, who will participate for the first time in the Giro d'Italia this May and was the big surprise of the evening.

The presentation was much anticipated by Mayor of Matteo Cesenatico Gozzoli, and by the President of the Nove Colli Alessandro Spada. It was created thanks to the support of Sportful, one of the most famous sportswear brands for cycling and a partner of the events scheduled for next May.
