It was a Saturday of celebration for the whole Nove Colli world: many in the village for the collection of the race pack, the Mini Nove Colli Sportful, the medal ceremony for the aficionados and also the presentation of the "Dream Team" #NoveColli4Children
A Saturday full of events for this weekend entirely branded Nove Colli ended: the cyclists, the fans, the families who follow them are back, the party that this fiftieth edition has been waiting for more than two years is back.
After a morning of intense "traffic" for the collection of the race packs in the stadium area, the Mini Nove Colli Sportful dedicated to the little ones took off, then it was the turn of the medals to the cyclists arrived at their fifteenth participation.
The grand finale at the Sportful stand located within Cicloevento with the presentation of the Dream Team that will run the #NoveColli4Children.
The Mini Nove Colli Sportful
200 little cyclists took part in the Mini Nove Colli Sportful, the route for children aged 7 to 14 who have cycled through the streets of Cesenatico. In front of them, to drag and involve them some exceptional participants: Marco Marcato, Luca Paolini, Matteo Montaguti, Paolo Bettini, Cristian Zorzi, Ivan Basso, Marco Saligari, and Mario Cipollini. The participants, riding any type of bicycle, could be accompanied by their parents or by the various managers of the companies. After the effort, even a convivial moment with a snack offered to everyone.
The awards
At 5 pm in the stands of the Municipal Stadium, the awards ceremony was held for the clubs that can count on the largest number of participants in the Nove Colli 2021. Medal also to the 109 athletes who reached their fifteenth participation with this year's edition. Guest star of this moment was Mario Cipollini who attended the award ceremony, with him Andrea Agostini, President of Fausto Coppi; Arrigo Vanzolini, honorary president of Fausto Coppi; Mirco Lasagni, secretary of Fausto Coppi.
The award ceremony was also the best opportunity to continue the tradition of the Pompeii-Cesenatico twinning with Agostini and Vanzolini who exchanged a gift with Luigi Carotenuto.

Grand finale then in Piazza Costa with the Dream Team that will run the #NoveColli4Children which was presented at the Sportful Stand: Marco Marcato, Luca Paolini, Matteo Montaguti, Paolo Bettini, Cristian Zorzi, Ivan Basso, Marco Saligari, and Mario Cipollini. The #NoveColli4Children team is ready to get on the saddle to help and support the activity that the Romagna Oncology Institute carries out at the Pediatric Oncology Department of Rimini.
The driving force behind this initiative are the Asd Fausto Coppi, organizer of Nove Colli, and Sportful, a brand that has always been attentive to the needs and requirements of the youngest.
These two realities will make € 5,000 each available to charity, thus donating € 10,000 to the IOR. But there is a challenge that could double solidarity. If at least four riders of the team manage to finish the 130km route under the 4-hour time limit, ASD Fausto Coppi and Sportful will double their commitment with the donation that will reach € 20,000, a very important figure that confirms the commitment. solidarity and concrete, a tradition of these years.
