“Laltro percorso”, from 2023 comes a new way of experiencing the Nove Colli

In addition to the classic routes of 130km and 200km, the Granfondo is enriched with a new possibility: affordable distance, not excessive height difference, spectacular landscape and a new philosophy for this third and unprecedented route

2023 will be a year of great news for the Nove Colli which is enriched with a new big surprise. This year, fans will have a third 60km route available, a new track on which to measure and have fun. But "Laltro percorso" is not just a route and it is not just a start and a finish line, but a real new way of experiencing the race: the distance of 60km will be within the reach of many, the height difference of 650 meters decidedly inferior to the more traditional one and all cloaked in a vintage philosophy for an experience of the past. No chronometric chips, several refreshment points dedicated to typical products and a decidedly different rhythm and spirit. All of this will be incorporated into the oily organizational machine of the Nove Colli with safety and efficiency guaranteed by half a century of experience.

“Laltro percorso” therefore brings with it a new life for the Granfondo, a further possibility for enthusiasts who are faced with an extremely rich and engaging race. The aim is precisely to embrace even more enthusiasts than tradition.

The route

The departure remains from Cesenatico with the caravan which will then head to Sala before reaching Santangelo and Gatteo and arriving in Savignano sul Rubicone in front of the Ribano Castle. Cyclists will have to deal with a bit of slope enjoying the view before reaching Borghi and continuing to Sogliano where there will be a refreshment with local products. From here, refreshed, the participants will launch themselves on the Cioca descent with the 18 hairpin bends that have made it known by all as "Piccolo Stelvio". After crossing the Rubicone river, the return home will begin, passing through Savignano again before Gatteo, Fiumicino and arriving in Cesenatico at the same finish as the classic Nove Colli.

The total distance is 60km with a height difference of 650 meters and a maximum height of 360 meters.
