Every year, Nove Colli welcomes thousands of cyclists from all over the world: plan your arrival in Cesenatico in advance.
ATTENTION
In the hours before the start, several roads will be subject to traffic restrictions and temporary closures. We strongly recommend arriving early at the start area.
PARKING
Cesenatico offers several parking areas dedicated to athletes and supporters.
If you are staying in town, we recommend leaving your car at your hotel and reaching the start area by bike or on foot.
HOW TO REACH CESENATICO
BY CAR
From Northern Italy:
Take the A14 Bologna–Ancona motorway, exit at Cesena or Valle del Rubicone, then follow signs to Cesenatico.
From Southern Italy:
Take the A14 Ancona–Bologna motorway, exit at Cesena, then follow signs to Cesenatico.
BY TRAIN
Cesenatico railway station is connected to the main national railway lines through Bologna and Rimini.
The start area can easily be reached from the station.
BY AIR
The nearest airports are:
- Rimini Federico Fellini
- Bologna Guglielmo Marconi
- Forlì Luigi Ridolfi
TECHNICAL ENVELOPE PICK-UP
Before enjoying the Nove Colli Village experience, all participants must first collect their technical envelope.
Collection times:
- Friday 22 May from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- Saturday 23 May from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Location:
Palazzo del Turismo di Cesenatico
Viale Roma 112 (nearby Nove Colli Village)
To collect your envelope, you must present:
- ID document;
- confirmation letter;
- any additional documents required by the organisation.
ATTENTION
Participation will not be allowed without the required documentation.
If you cannot collect your envelope personally, another person may do so on your behalf according to the organiser’s procedures.
NOVE COLLI VILLAGE
The Nove Colli Village will be open:
- Friday 22 May from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- Saturday 23 May from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Location:
Piazza Andrea Costa, next to the Cesenatico Skyscraper.
Here you will fully experience the Nove Colli atmosphere with:
- expo area;
- official merchandising;
- event area;
- food & beverage;
- race pack collection;
- partner areas;
- entertainment and activities with thousands of cycling enthusiasts from all over the world.
BEFORE THE START
Before leaving your hotel or home, make sure you have:
- your bike in perfect condition;
- approved helmet;
- bib number and bike plate;
- charged electronic devices;
- mechanical emergency kit;
- clothing suitable for weather conditions.
START GRIDS
Your starting grid will be indicated on your race bib. Signage with directions for accessing the starting grids will be displayed in the race pack distribution area.
Access will be granted exclusively to riders assigned to the specific grid. You may choose to start from a grid behind your assigned one without changing your race bib. However, if you move forward to a higher grid, you will be subject to disqualification for the following year.
If you are registered for the Granfondo and wish to switch to the Nove Colli Gravel, remember not to mount the timing chip on your bike and line up in the Gravel grid using your Granfondo race bib.
Please:
- respect the assigned times;
- follow staff instructions;
- maintain respectful and cooperative behaviour.
FEED STATIONS
Several feed stations will be available along the course with water, energy products, fruit and refreshments.
Help us protect the environment:
- do not throw waste along the route;
- use only the designated waste areas.
MECHANICAL & MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
Along the course you will find:
- mobile mechanical assistance;
- support vehicles;
- ambulances;
- medical staff;
- recovery vehicles.
In case of need, always follow the staff instructions.

Nove Colli is one of the most iconic granfondos in the world.
The route crosses the hills of Romagna featuring legendary climbs, breathtaking landscapes and roads immersed in Italian cycling tradition.
Ride smart, respect other participants and manage your energy carefully.
LIVE RESULTS ON WHATSAPP
Category rankings are back at the heart of the Nove Colli experience and become even more accessible: from this year, they will be available live directly on WhatsApp.
Throughout the event, participants will benefit from a brand-new service designed to guide them step by step during the entire weekend.
Through dedicated messages, every rider will receive real-time updates and useful information: from the Friday welcome message to the Saturday reminder featuring the complete schedule of side events.
The most anticipated moment will come on Sunday, immediately after crossing the finish line: every cyclist will receive their official race time directly on their phone, followed by their ranking position.
Special attention will be dedicated to category rankings, now presented in a new digital format designed for instant access, easy consultation and immediate sharing.
Top riders in each category will also receive a special digital diploma.
A service designed to enhance every result, make the Nove Colli experience even more engaging and allow every participant to instantly share their achievement.
AFTER THE FINISH
After crossing the finish line you will find:
