The third stage, scheduled for Saturday 5 June 2021, will take place on the medium track (130km) of the granfondo
Italian cycling gives another recognition to the Nove Colli, confirming its path as one of the most fascinating in all of Italy: on Saturday 5 June 2021 the Giro Under 23 will run the Cesenatico-Cesenatico stage on the medium route (130km) of the Nove Colli.
Another great appointment after the last Giro d’Italia was measured on the longest route as a celebration of 50 years of the oldest granfondo in the world. Cesenatico will also be the scene of the great start of the Giro d'Italia Under 23, further confirmation of the centrality of the territory in the Italian cycling scene.
“The Nove Colli is consolidating itself more and more as a“ Classic ”with new awards that certify the charm of a path that every year bewitches cyclists and professionals. After the Giro of the "bigs" also the Under 23 will climb our peaks. I think it is a great satisfaction for everyone and also a nice thing for the many who have raced and will run the Nove Colli because it always makes a great impression to see established champions and young promises plowing roads that are familiar to us", the comment from Maurizio Pedrelli vice president and head of the youth sector of the ASD Fausto Coppi of Cesenatico.
