The 55th edition of the Nove Colli ends in the spirit of celebration, friendship, and the final finishers

Success for the Village, the Mini Nove Colli, and the #NoveColli4Children project

The event ended as tradition dictates: with applause, music, toasts, and above all a collective embrace dedicated to the final finishers. But once again, the 55th edition of the Nove Colli wanted to offer something even more special: not just one last finisher, but five symbolic protagonists of this great popular cycling celebration.

Crossing the finish line, welcomed by the warmth of the crowd and celebrated by the Organizing Committee as the true heroes of the day, were:
Paola Meleo and Luigi Gudi from Rome, Donato Magazzino from Taranto, and two French participants, Hervé Ferucci and Eddy Soravito from the city of Aix-les-Bains.

Five different stories united by the same passion and the same spirit that for more than half a century has made the Nove Colli unique. Because the true heart of the event is not only athletic performance, but the ability to transform a granfondo into an extraordinary collective experience built on friendship, sacrifice, smiles, and shared emotions.

Once again this year, Cesenatico welcomed thousands of participants and supporters for a long weekend of celebration, sport, and tradition, with an atmosphere capable of involving every corner of the city.

There was also strong participation in the Nove Colli Village, which has now become one of the central hubs of the event. Throughout Saturday, the village came alive with sponsor stands, activities dedicated to cycling enthusiasts, opportunities to meet the public, and initiatives designed for families, cyclists, and visitors arriving from all over Italy and abroad.

Adding even more excitement was the Mini Nove Colli, which saw more than 400 young cyclists experience the magic of the event in an atmosphere of joy, color, and fun. This initiative has always represented one of the most beautiful moments of the weekend, capable of passing on to younger generations the values of sport, sharing, and passion for cycling.

Saturday at the Nove Colli was also enriched by the traditional awards ceremony for the “Fedelissimi”, the true pillars of the event’s history, honored for their constant participation and for the bond they have built over the years with the Romagna granfondo.

There was also great emotion during the presentation of the #NoveColli4Children project, which once again succeeded in combining sport and solidarity. The challenge launched by the Organizing Committee was successfully achieved: the Dream Team managed to raise funds in support of IOR, turning the effort spent on the roads of the Nove Colli into a concrete gesture of support and solidarity.

Marco Marcato succeeded in finishing in under four hours together with three amateur cyclists registered through the Dream Team Formula. Shortly after them, Filippo Pozzato and actor Marco Palvetti also crossed the finish line. Unfortunately, there was nothing to be done for Chiara Ciuffini, who was forced to withdraw due to a puncture, in a day that nevertheless confirmed the great human and charitable value of the initiative.

The Nove Colli thus bids farewell to its 55th edition, once again leaving behind images, emotions, and stories that go far beyond the simple sporting result.

The appointment is now set for the 56th edition of the Nove Colli, scheduled for Sunday, May 23, 2027.
