NoveColli4Children: solidarity still guides the Nove Colli

Davide Cassani, Cristian Zorzi, Mauro Gianetti, Rocco Cattaneo and Gianpaolo Mondini, run for the Oncological Institute of Romagna (IOR) in collaboration with Fausto Coppi and Gobik

The NoveColli4Children dream team is ready to get on the saddle for solidarity with high-level training riders that will take part in the Cesenatico Granfondo to help and support the activity that the Romagnolo Oncological Institute carried out at the Pediatric Oncology Department of Rimini: the driving force behind this initiative are the Asd Fausto Coppi, organizer of Nove Colli, and Gobik, the leading brand of the race. Up for grabs is € 10,000 but at least 3 members of the Dream Team will have to finish the 130km route under the 4-hour time limit.

This is a "tough" challenge for these former cycling champions because good training is still needed to reach the coveted finish line despite their athletic abilities. The top-level team that will ride for solidarity will be formed by Davide Cassani, Cristian Zorzi, Mauro Giannetti, Rocco Cattaneo, Gianpaolo Mondini. To help them there will also be some professionals and ex-pro ready to lend a hand along the track. Oliviero Troia of UAE Team Emirates, Edward Ravasi and Alessandro Forcellu of Team Eolo Kometa together with Vittoria Guazzini of Team FDJ Nouvelle-Aquitaine Futuroscope and Sofia Bertizzoli of UAE Team ADQ. Former world champion like Mario Cipollini and Massimiliano Lelli, already podium at the Giro d’Italia.
